Square-ended neck and round-ended neck cavity on the body, but you should be able to do something about that. Just check the scale length before you screw everything together, just in case the original body had a 24-fret neck fitted.

The square end of the neck is actually the edge of the fretboard overhang, the neck heal underneath it is actually rounded and fits the neck pocket pretty well.
