The ST style are all bolt on necks, you will have a plate and four screws that go through the body it the neck heel. All of the Fender-ish kits are like this. The LP and other Gibson-sequel style kits are set necks (Glued in necks) and most of the others are either/or. You can get an LP kit, with a bolt on neck (LP1-S, I think) but you can't get any of the fender shapes with set necks.
