    I would suggest Colortone black personally, though I use Colortone for everything (except blue). Easy to control the intensity and the fade. It's water based so you can draw the colour back out of the top while leaving it in the figure. My 2c .

    I'm not familiar with the Colourtone range Gav, is that an Automotive product?
