Your axe but I would go naked after all the hard work doing the veneered top. Could end up with too many competing patterns on top that may detract rather than enhance. Sometimes less is more if you know what I mean?

Would love to do that but because the routed holes for the pickups were to big for the sort of pickups im mounting, it was easier to add a custom pickguard than to partially block the holesOriginally Posted by wazkelly
