awesome Dave Grohl tribute axe Mr Mayhem love it. I've seen Foo Fighters live about 3 times and they have been some of the best concerts I've been to.
You did a good job to fill the F holes and cut new diamond shape holes. Are the neck fret markers stickers ?

Bet your son must love the axe. Sure he will grow into it and be playing some Foos chords soon !
    Current Builds and status

The diamond holes are standard on the kit, as are the fret board diamonds.

Ok, So this is my first PBG build and not the last, if the wife doesn't kill me first. After a false start but some great help from Adam, this is the result. I added a few aftermarket bits and pieces including a Dingo bone nut, aftermarket knobs, Grover Mini Locker tuners, a Tonerider Hot Classic neck p/up and a Kent Armstrong Dual Rail bridge p/up in a modern bridge. I finished it in Tru-Oil (love the stuff!) and Dingo Neck Finish. I was unsure about how much to sand the veneer so maybe a bit more next time. Anyway, it was great fun, very satisfying and I got a new guitar to play! Thanks to Adam for all the info and help with the neck. Hope you all like it.Click image for larger version.

    Cheers

Thanks Depicted Minds. Don't sell yourself short either. That's a nice LP too. I reckon you're in with a good chance.

Here is my entry for the guitar of the month competition
TLA-1 kit build, ash body given a few coats of sanding sealer and then some shoe polish to bring out the grain, before sealing with wipe on poly
Came out a lot better than expected and I think the images don’t do it justice

also made a build diary (still editing the video) for anyone who may be interesdted
