    no worries Dedman, I would guess about 4mm has to be shaved off the bottom of the neck heel, think the strings will bottom out on the high end of the fretboard.
    Maybe ask some guys who have built one to measure how far the fingerboard is from the body, I know Gav T has built one

    The other guys built the 'old' version of this kit, with the elegant curvy F holes. Might be a few more differences as I think it's a completely different kit.

    Hey Dedman, I might have ended up with your original neck. The kit I bought from a different supplier had a really f*****d up neck - twisted and warped. I had no joy from the supplier and Adam kindly sold me a replacement neck from one of his ES 2V kits.

    The reason I didn't go with the Pitbull kit is I just couldn't find any love for the redesigned F holes. I think they're fugly. I found a kit with the F hole design that I prefered, but... as I implied above, it's ended up being a lot more trouble than it should've been.

    Whenever I write "F hole", I think I'm gonna get banned...
