SO....
Is there a slim chance that you might want to, say.... give this guitar to me?
... No?
... bugga.
Build 1 - Refurbished Ibanez RG550.
Build 2 - Refurbished ESP LTD F10
Build 3 - DEC 2016 GOTM - PB LPA1 JP Wiring and FCH Bridge - http://www.buildyourownguitar.com.au...ead.php?t=6342
Build 4 - Surprise JB-4 - Build Diary coming soon
Little more done today. Drilled a hole through bridge pickup route to the upper side of guitar and routed (badly) a channel for the wiring to run back to the lower side.
Bit the bullet and put in a control cover as I couldnt work out how to do it without one. Will make the install a hell of a lot easier.
Bit too keen though and was focussed on on making sure remained in the line and didnt notice till too late that the back was a fair bit thicker and could have been ledged for the cover rather than gluing in the ledge like the front.
Tommorow will start gluing in the ledges around the routed areas.

Tony
Looking great! The freehand dremel work looks super clean. My memory of Devin Townsend is late '90s Strapping Young Lad with Billy Birmingham hair, so this is a lot less pointy than I'd expect.
Nice work on the cavity Tony! She's really coming along now.
cheers,
Gav.

Quick light test.
The red LEDs definitely the way to go. The light will show better in normal light once the colour starts to go on.
Tony
zing... let there be light.
The awesome is building with each update.
Scott.
Uber cool look you've got there. Great job.
