Ok, so thought I would post an update after repairing the damage.

Here's what it looked like after being knocked off the table:

Used the gel superglue method, unfortunately, got a little on the fretboard as you can see in these two of it clamped:

Next day.... dunno WTF happened, as it was sitting in a spot where it couldn't be bumped, but, you can see there's now a gap between the binding and the fretboard. You can also see where the binding is chipped on the short side.

After a bit of sanding and lemon oil, doesn't look too bad. Not as good as original, but probably not noticeable if you didn't know it was there.... unfortunately my stupid OCD brain will remind me about it forever more. I will likely lemon oil the fretboard during the build, so it will look darker overall.
