Well, Plan C looks like a failure. I may have to go with the trapeze set up anyway. I can't find a stop tail that is 74mm at the studs.

could you fill the stud holes and redrill them at 82mm and use a gotoh wrap over like this, it would probably hide the old holes as it has a fair bit of overhang

I thought about that, but being a seni-hollow, the wood underneath isn't wide enough to fill and drill, and the paint is done.....could you fill the stud holes and redrill them at 82mm and use a gotoh wrap over like this, it would probably hide the old holes as it has a fair bit of overhang
