Haha, I'm not really!! I honestly can't see how people can put together a guitar in just a couple of weeks!

Hopefully I will be able to apply a second coat tonight. I want to pick up some foam brushes because the varnish does not go on very well with the rag method. It's a much thicker consistency than the stains.
I'll apply another top coat to the top as well after giving it a very light steel wool rub down.

Well it is worth taking the time, the effect so far is stunning so we shall all have to take a chill pill until it is the appropriate time!

Yes large part of this amateur luthiery hobby seems to be watching paint/stain dry....... it probably will be a nasty shock when you actually have to plug it in! (Especially if your wiring is dodgy)

Haha, it's not so bad because we have this great site to fill in the spare time!!
