Issue I will have is the neck timber is a darker shade then the body timber. Since this is a stain, with a French polish finish need to balance the amount of neck to body stain finish. There is some really nice grain on the neck. Finish will be Bondi blue. I also don't like the neck to be vanished, I sand down smooth my necks Ala John Mayer. SRV. So I have a Mahogany Neck with nice grain with a Maple fret board. And I wanted this to be a beginners build.....Originally Posted by stan
