Once you get used to it a bit, it becomes real easy to switch to a multiscale!

5 and a half years ago I bought a near new Stingray4 HH and for 4 and a half years I loved it to bits.

Because I like to keep things simple, I got too overwhelmed by the tonal choices of two centre tap 'buckers and a 5 way switch. (Stratocaster? Forget it...)

So began the covetting of a Stingray5 with a single pickup.

I started playing rhythm guitar about 2 years ago and about a year later I sold the Stingray4 to buy a very expensive Maton electric. (Nice, no, EXCELLENT guitar, but more than I'll ever need)

I also got a cheap Yamaha at the endoffinancialyearsale, just so I could keep a bass in the studio - you never know.

Lucky I did, because 2 months ago I got a job in a band - on bass. Yippee.

But the Yammy just wasn't gonna cut it.

Long story short... What (bass) guitar do I want?

The acquisition phase is over. I'm not a collector, I'm a player. (Though I might search out a cheap Stingray SUB to leave at work for practice.)
