Thanks mate, i did that and it made things a lot easier. I then measured my MIM fender strats neck and the neck of the pitbull strat and they were the same so used all the measurements from the MIM and used them to fit the pitbull neck and bridge saddles. Just fitted the 2 e strings and the alignment is good and the neck is straight...yay.
    Cheers for the advice

Ok, neck is bolted on and its straight, i dont know how...lol fitted bridge saddle and screwed down with 2 screws after taking measurements from my mim strat, and fitted tuners. Strung up with the 2 E strings and checked fret clearance. At 21st fret was 3 ml off crown, should be able to lower with neck adjustment.

Question... what sort of tension do you put on the springs when you fit them behind the cover plate?

hey Nitro, depends how hard you want to push the wammy bar, obviously more tension harder to push. I tighten them enough to keep the bridge flat when tuned up and so it returns flat after a few good dive bombs haha. Probably about 80-90% fully tight I guess.
Mock build in black looks choice !!
Instead of springs being straight I also angle the outside springs makes them longer so bit more tension

neck looks ok Nitro from the photos but bit hard to see. As long as you can drop the saddles a bit to lower the action and the E string offsets are about equal or a tad more fret on the thick low E you should be fine mate !

Ok, is there a way to adjust the saddle so it lowers the action? I was jus gonna adjust the neck when its all setup. And not quite sure what you mean by e string offsets, sorry still a noob when it comes to setting up hardware.

Hey Nitro, there are 2 small allen key adjustments on each saddle, you should have about 1.5 or 2mm allen key to lower or raise them. String offset is try and make both outside strings about even offset to the edge of the fingerboard, so that means either aligning the neck or the bridge to achieve this. Hope this makes sense. Have you played a well setup guitar ? Take notes from how it's setup !

Thanks heaps, ill know now how to adjust the saddle. I understand you now, yes the e string offsets are both perfect, i checked these before screwing in the bridge. Yes my made in mexico HSS fat strat is setup perfectly, so i ended up copying most of the measurements from that. Thanks heaps again for the help. Im well on my way now.
