Back on topic.
Wasnt happy with the stain on the headstock so resanded again,twice already, restained but sanded back the edges to give it a striped edge look.

Dammit, you've partially stolen my idea!! I was going to do something similar with my dremel and paint a solid colour as a contrast!!

Hey you know what they say, great minds think alike! Hey go ahead with it id love to see how it turns out. Perhaps you could pm me...
But our ideas miight be closer than you think.....when i put the dark blue on the body im going to white pinstripe it to match the white pickguard, and then going to sign my username in white paint on the headstock.

That sounds really cool. I don't know what colour I would use on mine. The back of the body and neck are a black stain, similar to yours, but I'm doing the front in a clear, but with a light burst if I can pull it off. Might hang on to the idea until I grab a PRS kit for the next one!
