Woks' collection can be seen with the naked eye from the moon....

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

I think Woks beats these pros:

    Show us your entire collection!

Anyway I haven't been posting much but managed to get some work done.

    Routed the channel wires.

Glued it all up. Still don't have enough clamps! Some areas still had gaps. Argh!

    Fresh off the clamps.

After trimming the top and with some mineral spirits, the flames really popped.

Started drilling for the truss rod channel.

And used a 6mm bit with a router straight edge guide.

Yes I would trade all I have for their collection too!

Unfortunately it's only 7mm thick so I'll only use it as a drop top. I did consider doing a little carving with binding to hide the ugly gaps where I didn't have enough clamps. I'll think it through for now until the neck is done.

Hey Simon, is the white bucket and Shop vac in the back of shot a home made dust collector system?

Good eye Franken! It is just a cheap solution to my dust problems. The vacuum itself is a cheap ozito wet and dry.
