Anyway, I just did a tweak of the RG350DXZ's Intonation and I really think I've got it in the ballpark now, the guitar does seem to have better tuning stability than my S420WK did, especially after using the trem bar, it does seem to return to pitch pretty well, I've got the Zero Point System engaged, overall I'm pretty happy with the guitar to the point where I'm fine with it being my official main guitar, I feel like I can rely on the guitar in a gigging situation, so, this White Ibanez RG350DXZ is now officially my main guitar.

Feeling very relieved that I now have a guitar that does stay in tune, now I can get on with learning how to play it well, and how to play some songs...lol.

I just had a look on Ebay and there are some RG350DXZ guitars listed going for up to Au$798.00 for a White RG350DXZ located in Australia, I did a calculation and found that I saved myself Au$448.00 by buying one from my local Cash Converters shop.

I just thought I would start a new thread about a guitar I bought from my local Cash Converters shop yesterday, the guitar I bought is a White Ibanez RG350DXZ Electric guitar with a pearloid scratchplate, the pickups are an Infinity 3 Neck Humbucker, an Infinity 3 S Middle Single-Coil, and an Infinity 4 Bridge Humbucker, it features an Edge III Low Profile Floyd Rose style double-locking Trem with Ibanez's ZPS Zero-Point System, a Basswood Body, and a Wizard III neck with a bound Rosewood Fingerboard, the hardware is black, the guitar cost me $350.00, but I have seen there retailing for up to $600.00 online.
    Nice buy DrN,

My Ibanez RG350 EXZ Black cost me $589 and she's nice to play.

Last time I was there (cashies), they had a mexican strat that was beat up pretty bad (scratched to hell, broken bridge and a missing pickup!) with $950 on it. I asked the guy if they were serious about the price and after 'consulting with the manager' said he could go down to 900. I doubt it would have cost that brand new. Sometimes the people coming up with their prices are clueless, you just gotta be lucky.

I see what you mean, they'd be more likely to get half that price they quoted for that Mexican Strat, given the condition it was in, $950.00 is more like what you'd pay for a Mexican Strat in brand new condition, I remember my old Black Mexican Strat costing me Au $999.00 when I bought it brand new, I think they go for something like $600.00 or so over in America.

Hahahaha... I tried to leave the store quickly Wokka, but I had a sore back at the time, and I couldn't walk quickly enough because of the pain, my back is good at the moment though, anyway, so this new Ibby is officially my main guitar now mate.

I'm going to be going out to a mate's place this afternoon for a jam and I'll be back tomorrow, my mate just bought himself a second-hand Black Ibanez RG550 guitar from someone living in Woolner, a suburb of Darwin, he went and bought it yesterday, so this afternoon we'll be jammin on our two Ibby guitars, should be fun, he wants to learn some Iron Maiden songs, like "Hallowed Be Thy Name", I reckon it's a cool idea cause I'm a bit of an Iron Maiden fan too, been into them since I was 21 years old, just starting out playing guitar.

Now, all I need is to get my Marshall MA 100C 2 X 12 100 Watt All Valve Combo Amp back from being fixed and I'll be happy.

Here's a pic of my Marshall MA100C amp:

Iron Maiden are playing in Perth Saturday night

Bet your Marshall combo all valve amp sounds good, does that have a pair of 12" speakers ? What's it in repair for, new valves ?

Maybe he thought it was an aged 'relic' guitar. Definitely dreaming

Doc, good luck with the back. I'm just on the right side of a 9 week episode... hang in there

@ Ponch hope your back problems haven't been caused riding the old Kwakka down the highway all day ? I'd ask for a new bike mate, it must be over 30 years old !
