Kimball, which wiring layout are you using, the tone switch one? Easiest would be to use a single push/pull for a volume/tone to split both pickups at once, or two push/pulls to split them individually. It depends on the pickups, how they sound split, and how elaborate you want to go.

You could use a push/pull for the master volume or tone to split both the pups, depending on the reach of the pup wires. Or, use the the small hole on the upper bout for a mini-toggle for the split... or even get a (pricey) 4 pole On/On/On toggle to do series/single/parallel switching for both pups.
    Scott.

Why didn't you guys warn me of Guitar Building addictiveness? I'm no where near complete on this build, and already considering the next 1, or 2, or 3.

In no order, have dreams of building a Paul McCartney style Hofner, A Dave Grohl style ES, and a Prince style Tele, leaning more towards the Tele atm.

Resistance is futile, prepare for assimilation.

Yep sorry dude, the addiction is very real. I started with 1 and am now on to my 25th (and Wokks is another order of magnitude!). GAS is something that can never be satiated, but this is the most fun way to try .

    cheers,
    Gav.

Ha yes I can also confirm GAS is real. Despite having 'brand' guitars on hand the lure into my workshop for some building does not go away!

Do it as they will sound way better than the Chinese stockers that came with the kit. Even better if they are 4 wire as that provides all sorts of wiring possibilities.

Finished the second round of Intensifier.... Very, Very, Very happy with the colour. Exactly what I wanted I think, and will only get better.

Next up, is there any particular place anyone gets their Waterslide Decals from? I'm looking at having something on the headstock, and on the pickguard.
