Crap weather all weekend and thankfully the sun came out this morning to allow me to get some shots that show off the true colour & shine.
Took some more.....
And finally a few more.....the back in above shots is lighter than in the flesh and appears brighter due to strong sunlight in those shots.
The close up top left in this bunch is closest true representation of the overall colour.

Nice texture on the body at the grain, I guess you did not use pore filler, did you?
