Hey Fretty, I think that was to be used for oiling the neck......his own neck haha.

Looking forward to seeing this neck set, it should really look a treat with that stain shade.

    Cheers Gav and Frankie.

Yeah, pretty stoked at the moment with the colour. I'm going to leave it for a couple of weeks, then add another Intensifier.

If I'm putting Waterslide Decals in, I should put them on before the final coat right?

Hi DB07, yes I usually apply the waterslide logo before final coats to protect it.
I'd let the logo dry out overnight before applying the final coat. Any water left under the clear paper (or if any final coat gets under) will make the paper more obvious which you don't want.
I use a dry clean rag to rub over the logo to push any water out to the side and make sure there are no air bubbles. Might need to hold the logo one end so it doesn't move when you do this.
Give the logo plenty of time to soak say half hour minimum and it will slide off the backing paper easier

Yeah, not sure if it's the cooler weather here is Sydney, or if its the intensifier, but the first coat seems to be taking longer to dry than the others.

DB the guitars looking great. It's hard to take your time. Great job well done.

Scott, I think we should now call you Professor Weirdbits. Just a quick thank you for all the help you offer the guys in the forums. It's much appreciated. A quick question I'm in the middlle of wa GR-1SF build and saw your wiring schematics. Just wondered what you'd recommend if I'm not going to be using the stock pickups with two cables but four cables.
    Big thanks again Kimball
