    haha unlucky Tony when the phone rings at the wrong time ! Bridge pup looks excellent. Don't think the neck pup will work in it's current state hahah all good buddy

    Weighed the other spool, dont think there is enough 43AWG on it, have another turning up Friday..

    oh damn Tony that's the pup that looked so good in the first pictures

    oh well practice and maybe turn your phone to silent while you are doing the delicate side of the winding

    It will look and sound just as good, these things happen to every winder i know, just not usually after completion.

    Phone is usually off but i was waiting on a very imporant call and that was it otherwise it would of gone through to the keeper.

    no drama Tony, I think your pups will sound very good. That's probably what has delayed me winding pickups is all these hurdles and mishaps that can happen

    Generally there is more that can go wrong than cant, wrong tension, snapping wire, getting 9000 turns on a bobbin and no continuity.

    This stuff doesnt happen to me often but it has its moments like everything else to do with guitars.

    That must have happened about the same time as my table router decided to grab the '59 LP neck I was shaping...
    I was positive I heard an echo of the swearing I let fly with

    There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....
