Try checking all your wiring for short-circuits, bad solder-joints (good ones should look nice and shiny), broken wires, etc.

Hi JBird,

Looking at your wiring, it seems like the wire from the volume pot to the tone pot is wrong. There should be a wire from the same tab of the volume pot that the signal is coming in on (from the 3-way) to the tone pot tab. You have a wire from the body of the volume pot (the gnd) to the tone pot tab. I would attach the wire from the body of the vol pot to the body of the tone pot, and then run another wire from the top (input) tab of the volume pot to the input tab of the tone pot (whichever one the cap isnt on).
