Have had the body hanging for the last few weeks waiting for it to cure, on Sunday I thought surly it will be ready to finish but no.
The finish was cold, sticky and felt very soft. (although at first the sand paper just sort of scratched the surface then it started to roll {AGG AGG})
So! Yesterday i took to it with the sander, yep back to bare wood and the top coat off on the side.
Today it got two coats of blue and tomorrow I'll start to apply some top coats.
and I am happy with this and thought that, maybe, I should have done this in stead of trying to patch it up with just sanding the top, and trying to still have a lighter top, oh well.
