I'll make sure I do a good review for all the forum members cause I think these new Zero Glide nuts are going to revolutionize putting nuts on guitar necks, might start a new thread about them, I'm going to order a couple of Strat Zero Glide frets for my soon to be ordered STA-1M kit, stay tuned mate.
Update:
Just encountered a classic example of Murphy's Law,I was just in the process of taking the strings off my LP Studio, so I could install one of the Zero Glide nuts on it, when the high E-String broke as I was loosening it, the strings I had on my LP Studio happened to be the only set of strings I had, what's worse is I have no money to buy any more sets of strings so I'll have to wait till next Tuesday so I can afford to buy some in order to be able to record any demos, I'd use some colourful language now but as this forum is supposed to be family friendly, I'll have to restrain myself.
I'm just in the process of filing down the width of the Zero Glide nut so that it will fit the nut-trench on my LP Studio, I need to take off about 1mm, but it needs to come off the back of the nut material only, not the front, as per the instructions, incidentally, I'm using a file rather than sandpaper, as I'm filing the nut it seems to smell like the nut material is made of bone or some synthetic bone material, maybe even synthetic ivory.
