First jobs done. Checked the neck fit, lined up the bridge and drilled pilot holes for the neck and bridge. Did a bit of refining of the pick guard around the end of the neck. Then onto some body mods, reducing the heel in a similar way to what I did on the Sonicaster. I really don't like how big a lump of wood is back there, even on real Fenders. Started shaping the headstock in a fairly familiar shape.

I've run out of time this arvo, but happy to have made a start. I'll finish the head stock shaping and then settle in for some sanding. Being a shiny black finish I'm going to take my time and get it really nice and flat. I'd like to get some paint on it this weekend, but I'll see how I go.
