My Peavey Renown Solo 160 Watt Solid State Amp

    Hi everyone,

I thought I would start yet another thread about my Peavey Renown Solo 160 Watt Solid State guitar amp a great friend of mine gave me, it was originally a 2 X 12 Combo amp but had been made into a head, at some stage this year I'm going to see if I can build a 2 X 12 speaker cab for it so I can use it as a gigging amp.

Here's a pic of the amp as is, the black knobs on it aren't the original ones, but seeing as most of the original ones were missing I decided to put the black ones on as a way of customizing the amp, I think they look great:

At some stage I might see if I can make a front baffle that fits just under the amp chassis, I was thinking about it last night and thought that the amp would look cool if I covered the front baffle with some coloured cloth of some kind, maybe a Paisley pattern perhaps.

So the amp has two footswitchable channels plus footswitchable reverb, my mate also gave me the footswitch for the amp too.
