Finally had a couple of days warm enough to get some colour on this. Ended up not doing the carbon fibre effect because I couldn't get a result I was happy with, I'm sure it can be done, just wasn't able to get there this time. So, burst it is
The charcoal looks more like silver in those pics, this is closer to what it really looks like
Now need to wait for it to cure before polishing and assembly
that's a great result, well done. I like the darker burst look
