Sorry Wokka to your question before. They sound great in bucker mode, really warm and full with enough snap so it still sounds like a tele. Split they are a bit thin but that's to be expected. Even the DiMarzio I have in the ib7 when tapped sounds weak. I like em alot.

Well, I don't think I have any chance against the competition this month, but it seems to be the done thing to post your guitar up when it's done, so here it is:

6 saddle bridge and string-thru conversion
Seymour Duncan STL-1 and STR-1 Vintage style pickups

Wow, what a line up. I am glad mine isn't quite done, not sure it would get a look in with this range of sweet builds.
