    Piezo P Finished ... finally!

Spent some quality time on the weekend and got the project completed.
Pretty happy with the result, both from the finish and tone points of view.
Here are some pics of the final outcome ...

The difference in tone between the EMGs and the Piezo bridge is quite marked, so there are a few different sound possibilities.

The other gadget that I'm pleased with is the Hipshot Extender - I've strung this bass with a high C and have the Extender on the E string to allow easy "drop-D". Works a treat!

I'm planning to spend some time this weekend doing some recording so I can post what the thing sounds like.

looks awesome Threebass well done. Love the hardware upgrades. What active system are you using ?

wondered what was next to the B tuner on the shot of the back.

Looks great. Curious to know more about the headstock string retainers as they look a better option than the standard kit supplied round ones.

    Cheers, Waz

    Hi Waz,
The string retainers are by Hipshot and I found them on eBay. They make a couple of different versions.
    They work well ...
