EX-1 Control Cavity Measurements in case you want to install EMG Buss

Hi folks, had a forum member from USA PM me last night seeking indication as to whether existing EX-1 control cavity was big enough for EMG Buss??? Thought it needed a battery box and only just googled topic a short while ago and looks like it can be used passively too.

Anyway, in case anyone is interested I have uploaded some photos containing both metric and inches measurements from my EX-1 control cavity. Point I should mention here is that my EX-5 body is exactly the same size, has a bolt on neck, however control cavity and therefore controls are in a different position compared to the EX-1 Guitar cousin. EX-5 is the Orange one.

Not sure if this is the same on all EX-1's as I would have expected both Bass and Guitar to have been identical except for bolt on neck vs set neck.

there is an option for using an external power pack for the EMG active pickups. I've found the EMG EQ setups tend to be very bulky compared to PBG pots
