Neck Alignment PROBLEM please help! 😅

I have encountered a problem here i was wondering if you could assist me?
As you can see the space between the string and the edge of the fretboard is different on each side
There is 3mm gap at the 12th fret on E string and
7mm gap on the G string side
How would I go about correcting this?
It says in the pitbull instruction manual that I could sand down the inside of the neck pocket?
I'm worried that I might make things worse
Please help 😅Click image for larger version.

    FIXED IT!!!!
Bit of a light sand in the neck pocket then drilled and installed the neck on a slight angle to get string alignment and its perfect now!
I was stressing over nothing really it was an easy fix
Not sure how to delete this thread tho
    Thanks!

    Ok cool! 😃
So excited to get that neck on and strings lined up perfectly
I was very surprised by how little i needed to sand in the neck pocket to fix this problem
A tiny tiny difference at the base of the neck makes a huge difference 😃

I did this for my guitar. It was fairly simple

Cool, but it looks like youve shoved a piece of wood in between the neck pocket and the neck ?!

Yes that a piece of veneer had to glue to side of neck pocket. The neck alignment in my kit was off. I couldn't relocate the bridge as it was a semi Hollowbody kit with a very small centre piece. @fender3x have me this idea to whack the neck from bass side to see if there is a play and if a small wedge opens up. And there was a small wedge. I had to shove in some veneer one by one and mark it as far as it can go into neck pocket and check the alignment. And it did align well after that. Then I had to take the neck out and glue those veneer to side of neck pocket until the markings on top of each. Now all is well.

This forum is full of beautiful people who help people like me without any wood working skills to make their first guitars

I was channeling Simon. I rarely have an idea that works as well as this on my own. Drashkum did a a really nice job with it. It's worth reading his build diary if anyone else has a similar issue.
