    JB-4 Build

I decided I need another Bass so I have chosen a JB-4 for my next build.

Nice. The fretboard has a great pattern.
How do you intend to finish it?
    PitBull Builds: FVB-4, LP-1SS, FBM-1, AG-2, TB-4, SSCM-1, TLA-1,TL-1TB, STA-1HT, DSCM-1 Truckster, ST-1, STA-1, MBM-1, MBM custom, GHR-1 (Resonator), FH-5V (Acoustic).

The little voices in my head keep telling me "build more guitars"

I've gone for a Fender style headstock with a slight alteration, I'm leaning toward a Tru-oil finish for the neck and headstock and I'm toying with they idea of a blue kandy body or a blue/silver fade.

Years of building custom cars and bikes has me doing my guitars a little different I guess. I prefer to do a full build to make sure everything is perfect then strip down to paint and finish. Nothing worse than having to drill your paint or fill a hole and touch up after.
