Smile Just received my ES-1GT today

    Hello everyone...
My name is Guy and am looking forward to this project....
my first question is the choice of finish.
there are so many choices here that I would to narrow it down by seeing other
hollow bodied guitars that were done....
I do like the wood grain so a solid colour is out....
any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Guy. The ES kits are awesome. Ideas for finish, firstly take a look at Dingotone sold by PBG.

First is finished in Wudtone, second in Colortone.

    Cheers

Hi Guy, welcome to the forum, nice kit to start on. If PBG doesn't ship to Canada then I'd look at Wudtone or Colortone from Stewmac for a stain, otherwise a decent hardware should have some stains available
