1st Build. What is Parts List for new IB-5?

    howdy all.
we are to build an PitBull Guitars IB-5 and when the instructions say to check that all the pasts are with the DIY Package, there is no Listing to check parts are supplied as in 3 x ? and 6 x ?.
there is no listing in the box with the DIY Bass Guitar for us to cross reference that all the parts are supplied in the correct amounts and we can not find anywhere, may be somewhere but we don't know where, we can not find a listing anywhere that states what parts and amounts should have come with the DIY Bass Guitar.

Our DIY Guitar is a 5 String Bass Guitar of PitBull Guitars Model IB-5.

if anyone knows where to find this list or if they know as we have no idea.
we have never played guitar only Produced EDM as Techno through to Speedcore/Splittercore and Extratone.
We do listen to Death Metal and Slamming Brutal Guttural Death Metal and plan to get into this is why we bought this 5 String Bass Guitar in the IB-5.

Any info would be Greatly appreciated.

    Best Regards,
    Left Unnamed.

Hi lefty - I'm guessing because my kit was very heavily customised and done outside the normal ordering system... but....

I think the first stop would be to look at the link "IB5"

You may also have been sent a couple of emails regarding the purchase?
A parts list should be on the Invoice.

If all else fails send an email to Pitbull Guitars (service@pitbullguitars.com).

    Hi left Unnamed,

I'm sure that there is not a specific list of the kit parts. You could probably use the pictures for the IB5 kit from the Pitbull Guitars website.

Otherwise, go through the hardware and ensure you have the major parts (eg 5 tuners - 3 left 2 right etc) and you know where they go. You should be able to determine the different screw types etc and where they go.
    PitBull Builds: FVB-4, LP-1SS, FBM-1, AG-2, TB-4, SSCM-1, TLA-1,TL-1TB, STA-1HT, DSCM-1 Truckster, ST-1, STA-1, MBM-1, MBM custom, GHR-1 (Resonator).

Scratch Builds: Pine Explorer, Axe Bass, Mr Scary, Scratchy Tele's.

The little voices in my head keep telling me "build more guitars"

    Smile

Howdy EsquireEsque and Trevor Davies, we were just overwhelmed with the amount of parts.

we are used to buying, say, a synth and you get a synth, or drum machine or MIDI Instrument or whatever and it is just 1 part in a box with a cable.

but to receive this order... we just weren't expecting anything like this. Which is a good thing as now we have more music to make, just we have to make the instrument work first.

    thanks for the assistance guys.

    Howdy All.
PitBull Guitars say... their people packing these orders do very well at packing all the parts.

Some good steps already to a Future down a Different liner of Audio Production. Order was Easy, good selection to choose from, quick and easy payment and very quick delivery of Great quality DIY Kit 5 String Bass Guitar in IB-5.

We are going to have to keep a Diary as we have already decided on Painting this Bass Guitar in Crimson, if we can find a good shade of Crimson. Already have the Primer, the New heavy, at 50 - 135 guage, Strings, looking forward to some Slamming Brutal Guttural Death Metal. We can already do the Vocals,... just need to build this kit and learn how to play it.

Sounds like a good plan! If you run into any parts you don't recognize (what are these springs for?) put a post on the board (we like pics as well) and someone will be along to help you out.

    Thanks fender3x for input.
we are about to do a build of the ib-5 before we finish off for a test build.
that way we will see how everything lines up before we finish to total build.
we will be painting in bright red as we don't like how the grain is on our IB-5.
if grain was better we planned to stain, but the grain does not look good, so best to paint to hide.

Solid color paint jobs can be very cool. It's usually my plan to do solid colors, unless the grain is something special ;-)
