Hey Mate, just keep posting in the same thread by using the 'reply' button. At the moment you are starting a new thread with each pic.
No worries
Shall we keep this one alive, because I love the look of that!
Thanks, RocknRolf. I'm a follower of Sonic Mountains quote "What I lack in talent, I make up in enthusiasm."
All good - have merged all the posts.
First build-Head Stock Attachment 33685
Wow! That's lovely grain on that headstock.
That'll feature nicely with a nice gloss clear coat!
And work on the body too!
There's currently a thin line of unstained veneer by the nut on the headstock. I'd use a small paintbrush and get in there and touch it up, as it will become very annoying over time if you leave it.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. Things have been really hectic lately, as John Lennon said, "Lifes what happens when you're not looking".
Anyway, that line will be covered by the nut as the nut has been removed. Thanks for the comments.
Its been a while.
Left a mark on the back of the neck joint gluing the neck last night. clear coat seems to be a bit soft still.
Need to sort out the wiring for the 3 pickups, proving to be a bit of a pain with the parts supplied. Anyone have any ideas of how to best wire this guitar?

There’s no simple answer as you’ve got two basic wiring schemes to consider. See this thread. https://www.buildyourownguitar.com.a...ad.php?t=10660
Thanks. It seems that in a majority of instances when dealing with a 3 pickups, 3 way toggle, two volume and two tone controls is to convert a tone control into a third volume control and convert the tone control into a master without getting into fancy wiring and switches.
Ill try this first and see how it goes.
