Ok sweet! I was going to do it after the intensifying coat but will do now and after the intensifying coats :). Thanks DB & wokka
no worries Shazz, I find it's easier to clean the binding before each stain/intensifying coat, plus the binding will become nice and smooth and polished

So I've cleaned up the bindings and my goodness! It looks like a whole different guitar!!
Thanks again boys for the tip :) was pretty easy to get off! Just so many curves haha especially in the 'f' holes!

Just decided to see what my guitars future entails... I thinks it's gunna be a mean looking axe! Also stoked with the colour matching with the headstock at this point. I haven't done the intensifying coats so may change in the future, but considering the different timbers used and their different properties, I think I've done well.
