Well had a win today. Finished soldering it all up and restrung and surprise surprise it al a actually worked. So worried as my soldering has never been great and the wires in these things are so damn small. So hopefully I get no more neck issues and will spend the next week getting it set up to my liking. Then I shall post some pics and see if I can work out how to get a video or at least sound demo up.

Well, ya gotta be pleased by that! Now I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing her in action. Well done, man!

Posted a more detailed photos set in the photo forum with a brief overview but here is a couple of pics of finished kit. Still have a bit of settling in of the setup but otherwise pretty pleased.

Mate that's ridiculous. And your first build? Always been a fan of the rickies but this thing is insanely beautiful. Loving the chrome touches, very very well done.

Thanks Andrew. There are lots of bits here and there that could be better but as you well know the first one is such a learning curve.

That is hot, man. Really hot!

Wow Looney - this is a beautiful axe. I want it! The first RC-4 to be finished in the community and what a stunner. You've done such an amazing job. Got to be GOTM dude!
cheers,
Gav.

Up against yours Gav I doubt it. But I may enter just to keep you honest lol

I dunno man. Gavs is a masterpiece but after seeing this we may have a tied first place. How's it sound?

Still getting the action right. Like to do it slowly as necks take a bit to settle down. But for the quick blast I had yesterday to test the electrics it sounded cool. Lots of tone variations and way different from my jazz I have been using for the last 15 or so years.
