When summer comes and the humidity and inability to breathe drives me back indoors I'll be back to 6hrs a day of lessons and practice and back to doing artwork and writing again until the weather cools off or I win lotto and get an air conditioned workshop :P
Hence the reason I want to get these builds finished in the next 6 weeks or so.

So how long will I be able to resist putting the neck on ? Black neck plate is due mid next week. She's wired and passes the tap test, tuners are on the headstock...................
if anyone has a switch plate with white writing on black and wants to swap for either gold on black or gold on cream/white let me know.

I have a few switchplates floating as I never use em, will have a look if I have white on black.

cheers! I had thought of getting some little stickers that said "Trouble" and "Riot"...maybe later.
-
That's looking great Dedman! Another option for the switch plate is to get a very fine silver marking pen and go over the top of the gold, but that could become messy.

Hi Dedman
Have only got the gold ones. So thinking similar to Zandit used a white marker let dry and gently rubbed off with 0000 steel wool.
Does matt the finish so just a rough smear of TO to give some shine. May be an option?
-
I think I'll just leave it off until I get some other stickers done and print a bunch of the Riot/Trouble ones :)
-
Leave it naked. It will look much better without.
-
thats starting to look very nice indeed Dedman love that quilt look...

thanks guys, for a factory second "rescue" I'm pretty happy with it, first time using TO as well, but not the last.
