So...humbucker mounts arrived today so I expect by mid week I'll be doing the wiring
I have this diagram
Attachment 11372
but my toggle switch has 4 terminals not 3 as shown in the diagram
Attachment 11373
what am I missing?
The inner two are your 'out', so link them with the wire to your master volume. The outer two connect to the pickups, and the lug on the other side is the ground.
thanks weirdy!
I was hoping you'd chime in. That is an odd looking switch. I have been thinking of switching from the stock switch to one of these:

They're small, and I have had good luck with C&K switches.
grunged up the pick up rings and made some pick up covers from some scraps of cheese cloth that I stained. I'm hoping they don't affect the pick ups. Did a body mock up while all the bits were on the bench :D The skull on the trem arm is an Emerson skull bead, Emerson are mid/high end tactical knife maker.

and I put a skull button on the head stock. I'm waiting for a set of "genuine" Gibson relic-ed tuners I found on ebay to arrive . I just couldn't bring myself to attack a shiny set of Grovers. I'm a bit lost with what to do with the finger board and those huge markers.

Dedman Loving the just pulled from the grave relicing.
A way out there concept for your fret markers - put in very slightly hazed clear ones with Sepia style headshots/photos of old west gunfighters or similar underneath.
hmmmm, that idea is crazy enough to work! Might need to make a few boils and ghouls to pose for pictures, I'm sure I could "dig" something upAttachment 11420
You could maybe scratch/etch/engrave some skull or tombstone designs into the fret blocks, fill the lines with black epoxy or black CA glue and sand smooth.
The same finish used on headstock might work well on the fret board too, particularly if you etch in some images into the block fret position markers as you would think the colour should sit in the etches once wiped off.
