I'm jealous of your man cave features, who has an oven in their man cave ?

Yeah Wokka, but sometimes there's a mother-in-law in there too!!:eek:
cheers,
Gav.
mother in law in the oven Gav ? haha hope your wife never reads these threads
you almost clocked up 1500 posts mate ! Only 515 to overlord status
I'd be heating up my tucker in the oven, don't think anyone else in the forum is lucky enough to have a granny flat kitchen man cave !
hi guys,
Well today I got the final stage completed. I shaped and filed a bone nut for this little baby and got the action nice and low at the first fret. With this little addition - and the bridge saddles dropped right down - the questions about neck angle just dissolved. The action is really nice! I guess if I shimmed the neck the saddle posts wouldn't be sticking out quite so far, but I'll live with it for now and see how it goes.
The TO neck feels really nice to play, as does the Dingotone Guitar Wax on the fretboard. The Tonerider "Hot Classics" also sound killer, both clean and over-driven - especially through my Dirty Angel Purgatory Pedal!! :).
I'm really happy with how she has turned out. I've always wanted a black Tele, and now I've got a great playing, great sounding shoe-gazer to thrash around. Awesome.
cheers,
Gav.
a couple more pics
and finally..
Nice Gav, Has that different finish look dependant on how it picks up the light. From nearly black to rosewood .
well done Gav it's a stunner. Glad you got photo's of it and on the wall so you will have memories after the tele napper makes a quick visit on the weekend !
I'll try the toneriders in my scratch tele, we'll need a sound demo Ramone style mate !
Low nut FTW, looks great Gav... time to put up some more hangers and make a PBG only wall.
