Thanks.
Yep, she may not be pretty but she's built to go the distance (sort of like some women I've be known to conspire with over years ... Oh dang it, there I go again! :D )
... I hope to have a sound bite to post up soon
G'day all, had a choice of 4 axes to enter and didn't want my sunburst tele to go up with Gav's awesome entry so I thought I'd mix it up and enter the ash Explorer, done in a similar colour to Gav's.
Stain is FW black and about 10 coats of TO. Headstock veneer is new favourite blackheart sassafras. Bone nut and made a custom truss rod cover. Pups are Entwistle Dark Stars and have a pretty good heavy sound. I'll try find time for a sound demo
Here's the front and close front pics
here's a close up of the headstock, back and close back. Forgot to mention back of the neck is clear, more naughty oil. Other than upgraded pots rest of the kit is stock
G'day all, I tried to open a new account for Dennis from 4D and had trouble posting pics so I'll enter on behalf of him.
His first PBG entry, we started him on a cigar box guitar.
It's a IB5 done in carmine gypsy then plans changed and he got the airbrush out. Clear in acrylic. It's got a DB bone nut, rest is stock and sounds pretty darned good !
here's the back and headstock pic. Believe it or not the headstock is small and clustered so had to separate the 4D logo !
Hey Wokka, what sort of troubles did you have? Let me if there's a problem.

edit: sorry, let me know if there's a problem. It should be straightforward to sign up and post on the forum. If not, then we need to know.
Oh Wokks, very nice! ... I always like a good EX-1 and that's one damn fine example! (those Entwistle's give great bang for the bucks don't they!)
... and Denis' IB-5 - What a pearler! ... I love the airbrush job ... another great 4D guitar! (or with the split logo maybe that should be "2x2D" guitar! :D )
I know its been said before but these GOTM entries really DO just keep getting better and better and both these entries prove it!
