So got the new neck to fix this guitar and is a super tight fit with plenty of meat to adjust to suit.
Should probably start a new thread but have continued with the PRS substitute and halfway through clearing the body and neck. Going silver hardware and zebra rocksongs. Waiting on some silver pickup rings. This has a mahogony body and a Basswood neck and had DB do a bone nut. Have to fix a small chip on the treble side of the headstock so bit of a sandbck reshape and should be sweet.
Super nice job on that blue Tony, ... really hot! (which is certainly saying something as I'm not usually a big fan of blue as a guitar colour)
This is looking very nice, well done
It's looking really good Tony.
that PRS looks sensational Tony, is that the one with no bridge holes drilled ? Haven't seen a PRS with trapezoid fret markers on the fingerboard and a 24 fretter
thanks Guys
Wokka this was one of the custom kits that was dropped. Yeah has some cool variations to the standard.
The basswood neck was a bit of a weird choice but will see how it goes.
nice one Tony, so did you drill the string through holes and fit the ferules ?
You are king of the popped flames !
Wokka string holes were already there.
Havent put ferrules in yet and wondering wether I have done the right thing, as was going to fit once the finish is done.
And no kinglyness, only the fickle favour of the Kit Gods in the quality of tops and grains in the last 4 or 5 kits.
The burst on that body is sensational.
Big ups to Adam.
