Looking really amazing! I love that top and the cream pickup rings really suit it. Great job!
cheers,

looks excellent Andrew strung up, well done on your first build. I personally would probably leave the pickguard off, you don't want to hide that beautiful flame !
Looks great Andrew, well done :)
Thank you all for the positive comments. I thought I was done with this axe, but a few more tweaks were required..
Decided on no pick-guard.
Cavity covers on the back.. re-sprayed with black enamel paint (x3 coats with wire-wool in-between each).
The intonation was a bit of a nightmare to get right, re-visited the nut and lowered each string to within a paper-sliver of the first fret. Ta-da, fixed my intonation problems.
Final tweak was in regards to frets from #15 onwards, I sloped these slightly towards the bridge and have removed all signs of buzz / deadness when up that end.
I'll enter into the December GOTM where you will find piccies of the final product.
Now to wait for my LP-Jnr kit.......
Lovely, great to hear. Such a fine looking instrument. Well done.
Nicely done Andrew. Personally - no pickguard - keep the flame!
I agree wholeheartedly Andrew. Don't want anything hiding that gorgeous top! Great decision.
