coming along nicely
Looks like the family are Gibson fans. Nothing wrong with that as those two of your Son's look fantastic, in fact better than the originals in my opinion.
Body and Neck all finished, binding has had a scrape, looking to finish up with some poly this week. I'm happy with the way this has turned out, Its not how I originally pitched the back to look, I thought that a more natural finish would have been nice, but with the burst on the front I decided that the darker edges would make for a better look.
I happy that I changed the head stock from the black (see previous pics) to the brownish black, I think it suit the overall look.
That is a cracker good looking burst. I agree waz-the FW golden teak is a lovely tone. Great job so far DM..

looking very nice Darren. What sort of poly clear will you be spraying ?
Looks excellent. Great burst transition.
I have applied two coats of Poly (Cabots Gloss aerosol ) the colour has really started to pop. In particular the back, the darker edges and the burst are looking better than expected. Photos were taken with the flash on so the skive on the neck seem to be quite prominent, but its actually become quite difficult to see with the poly on.
Looking awesome!
This just keeps getting better and better with every photo DMartin!
