Wow Gav, that looks amazing. If it were me I wouldn't be touching it again, pretty close to perfection to my eyes.

Gav, that's awesome. Great job with the burst.
Thanks to all for the very kind words! I had another look at it today and just softened the edges of the tobacco a little with some water. Apart from that I'm too scared to touch it ;). @Jarrod - I'm gonna do this one in naughty oil to enhance the grain as much as physically possible.
cheers,
Gav.
hi guys,
Got the back and sides dyed with a mix of Vintage Amber and Red Mahogany. There's 3 coats of Tru-Oil on the body so far and she's starting to look like something. I love how this ash grain has come up!

nice one Gav, you will have a heap of jealous forumites with this build. Damn I'm gonna have to build one of these kits now !
The back/sides colour looks pretty close to the old hot auburn was a favourite of mine
Still really love the burst and the mixed colour on the body looks fantastic.
Looking awesome Gav, very nice burst.
Gav this get better and better each photo. Love the build.
hi guys,
I just ordered a set of zebra Entwistle HDN neodynium pups from Ads for this build. From everything I've read these should give it a bit of beastly rock grunt. I also considered the rocksongs, but decided to try the Entwistle for this one.

I went with the zebra cause I reckon they'll look cool against the brown burst. So much for a stock build hey Wokks??
cheers,
Gav.
The zebras will be cool Gav...
I have a pair from a PRS SE waiting for the right build
