Cheers guys, getting excited about this one.. Pup upgrade required!
Gav, I maybe tapping your knowledge for some naughty oil tips, this one will be glossed to the max!
nice one Andrew, just keep applying fairly thin coats of TO and try and wipe any streaks or lines out, using a fine lint free cloth makes it easier. Let each coat cure at least 24 hours and don't pile it on too thick
She's looking very nice, Andrew.
Almost time to start wet sanding once 24hrs have passed for curing, some small streaking to eliminate.
Picture is after 4 coats of TO. Will work up from 400, 600, 800 and 1000 grit on this one with thinned coats of TO from 600 up.
great colour, you're doing a great job of this mate
Cheers Stan. All kind of happens by chance when I'm doing this, a bit of a cross between a mad scientist, an artist with lots of experimenting, luck and improvisation. I don't think I could ever replicate the same finish twice!
I think that is what most of us do mate!
Looking pretty awesome already!
