I jumped the gun a bit and placed the scratch plate as well as the neck pickup.
Wudtone'd the neck (still have to take a bit off the board as well as fully level the joint that we were talking about before), so pictures to come!

Yeah neck is pretty spot on Stan.
Im going to take half a fret off the board so when I get around to doing that, ill finish sanding it down
Looking great DangerMan! Just quick check - how's the scale length going there? Your bridge is pretty set where it is so there isn't much scope for movement. Given you've got 2 differently sourced parts in the neck and the body, it'd be important to make sure it's within tolerances.

Just checked the scale length - All good!
Same length for both the nut to 12th - 12th to bridge saddles
Really love the finish on this one Dangerman. The gold and red paisley looks fabulous and the gold hardware just brings it all together.

Cheers Darren, Im doing a vintage amber neck with a maple board. Should (hopefully) look a treat!
I reckon the vintage amber with the red will look stunning. They should set each other of beautifully.

Hey guys,
So ive gotten my hands on a decent jigsaw for my headstock and I've put on one coat of wudtone vintage amber.
Ill cut it tomorrow then spend my day shaping it so its perfect.
I've also had a bit of a muck around with the vintage amber (Sanded with 400 grade wet dry, steel wool) and Ill continue trying a couple of things with it to give it more of a vintage feel.
Anyway, ill give you guys an update when I get the headstock done and finished and, likely, when I get to putting the strings on!
