Thanks nitro, but i think you're calling it a little early!
So many great entries, I'm glad the judges are taking their time.

Wow, that sounds awesome! I know you swapped out the capacitors, but did you change the pickups too? Or are those stock? If they're stock, then I reckon I'm gonna be pretty happy when my lp gets finished!
Thanks H, as you said the capacitors are the only deviation from the stock hardware. Everything else is the stock Chinese hardware and it sounds awesome!
great vids, nice to see and hear it in action
I have just ordered this kit and once I finish my PRS build (first one) I will be going for the clear DT stain... looks bloody awesome. Great job mate! Hope my first one comes out half as good.

Thanks Slayer, most appreciated. I was so lucky with this kit, and how easy it was to create such a great finish!
I'm still no expert, but if you have any questions, just let me know!
I do have one issue that I'm trying to chase, and I think it has to do with the nut.
For some reason, after tuning the guitar, the G string(I always have troubles with G-Strings!) sounds fine open, but as soon as I play a chord like D, for instance, it's out of tune dramatically(sharp). I placed a capo on the third fret, and re-tuned it to experiment, and it plays perfectly. Would anyone suggest lowering the slot for this string?
The slots are probably cut for 9s or 10s so if you are using the fencing wire that is normally used on acoustics then the slots could well be too narrow so the strings sitting too high
Good point Dave. I honestly can't remember what I put on it, they are definitely not super thins, but I'm not sure if I went with 10's or 11's.
Wow! Stunning guitar! Great job Zandit, thumbs up!
