Thanks guys, It's been a labour of love! Luckily the wife had the cat for company. The good thing is, she always knew where I was!!

Wow, never really thought much of the spalted maple. Now I do! Looks fantastic.

Just realised I'm missing something!
What's the best location for the strap buttons?
The one on the bottom is pretty easy to determine, but what about the one up near the selector switch?

about in line with the switch works for me. I did a google image search on Les Pauls and it seems about right
