Hi Maurie, no problem. Usually the wiring guru Weirdbits chimes in but maybe he is away. If I was you I would look at upgrading the pots to mini bourns are better than the supplied chinese pots. Also upgrade the capacitor, it's not a huge expense.

note you will need a linear taper 250k pot for the tone control, it wasn't showing on the PBG shop.

Yes Adam is going to send me the parts required and I will be upgrading to the Bournes pots.
Unfortunately I am in Queensland so can't take you up on your offer but thanks anyway.
Just to clarify, when I do get the new pots, could you please advise how to wire the Bridge pick up and in particular the red & white wires? The wiring diagram has these separated and I believe this is not correct.

Hi Maurie, no worries, please post the resistance readings of earth and the other wire, and then the reading of earth and red and earth and white. the reading that is highest (2 other readings should be about half) will be the hot wire and the 2 wires that give about half the reading need to be joined and insulated.

I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly but I'm only getting a resistance reading of 6.77 on the earth and red wire.
No reading on the earth and white or earth and black.
Wazkelly sent a link in an earlier post which shows the red and white wires joined and the black as the hot wire.

Also, there is 3 volume controls and only 2 pick ups, so what is wired to the 3rd volume pot?
Is this meant to be for the splitting of the bridge pick up?
