Hi Zandit, not sure how colour fast other products might be. I once looked at food dyes and moved on from such as was not convinced it would be colour fast. Best to check as the last thing you want is a nice finish that gradually fades over time.

Oh just caught up with this thread. Welcome to the forum. In regards to finish be prepared to experiment a bit. I've used tru oil, acrylic, poly, nitro and DT neck finish. Each has its quirks and as previously mentioned and from my last experience DT finish is in the lead. And it is far less toxic.
As for shopping in the naughty warehouse lucky there is a stretch of water between mainland and Tassie harder for me to get over there on my quakka to issue an infringement notice lol

Yeah, I'm trying to sell mine, but now that winter has settled in here in Tassie, I don't see it selling until later this year.

Looks like a comfortable touring position, that blue is just beautiful....I agree, not really motorbike selling season.
For a 650cc, it's a great tourer. I have the hard Givi luggage for it, and my wife and I comfortably did the Great Ocean road a couple of years back, covering about 1300kms during the trip.
I have also done the loop of Tassie. 1119kms in 16hrs. Took me a couple of days to fully recover from that, but I had no issues on the trip itself!
Hey Zandit, check out the link there was a few Kwakka models they used in Chips
